If you’ve never experienced Winterfest in the Smoky Mountains, you’re missing out on a frolicking good time. The entire way from I-40 Exit 407 in Sevierville, through Pigeon Forge and to light #10 in Gatlinburg is decorated with Christmas lights and each city offers exceptional winter events and holiday festivals. We love Christmas and winter and celebrate it in a big way–from November through February–with lights, sights and sounds of the holidays.

Titanic Museum Christmas and Winter Celebration: Inside and out, the Titanic will hail the arrival of Christmas with joyous sights and sounds of the season. Visit the gift shop after your Titanic tour for Christmas gifts and collectibles.

Creekside Gospel Music Convention: This annual convention that the Smoky Mountain Convention Center kicks off with Lou Hildreth Honors, gospel music concerts and Midnight Prayer when fans and artists gather for more music, prayer and fellowship. The convention continues with round-the-clock concerts and awards, and time to meet artists, vendors and friends.

Christmas at Dixie: Enjoy an indoor snowfall, live nativity with camels and ascending angels during this show spectacular with a holiday feast served by elves from the north and south poles.

Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood: The entire theme park will be filled with Christmas lights, music and themed entertainment now through January 3. Experience Dolly’s winter wonderland with a parade, holiday characters, and special shows.

26th Annual Pigeon Forge Winterfest Kickoff: A celebration of winter in the Smokies begins at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge at 5 p.m. with live musical entertainment and Christmas light displays. Beginning at 6 p.m., free rides aboard our Trolley Tour of Lights will show off Winterfest displays throughout the city. The Pigeon Forge Winterfest continues through February 29, 2016.

Self-Guided Winterfest Lights Tour: The Pigeon Forge Trolley office at Patriot Park will provide maps with light display locations so that you can enjoy all the Christmas lights at your leisure.

Veterans Day Celebration: Join the City of Gatlinburg, locals and visitors in saluting the men and women of America who have served in our Armed Forces in this special ceremony on Ripley’s Aquarium Plaza. This 15th annual program begins at 11 a.m. is free to attend.

Gatlinburg Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff: The 26th annual party takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the downtown Parkway and includes a chili cookoff, live entertainment and millions of Christmas lights.
